The Brother HL-L2350DW is a mono laser printer in the HL-L2300 series, which shares cartridges across 12 models.
It takes two black cartridges that differ only in capacity: the TN730 at about 1,200 pages and the TN760 at about 3,000. At our prices that is 2.1¢ a page against 1.0¢, so the high-yield cartridge costs less to run unless you print very little.

Which toner cartridge does the HL-L2350DW take?
Brother lists the TN-730 standard-yield cartridge at approximately 1,200 pages and the TN-760 high-yield cartridge at approximately 3,000 pages for this printer. Yields are quoted by Brother on A4/Letter single-sided pages to ISO/IEC 19752.
Is the drum separate from the toner cartridge?
Yes. The drum unit is a separate consumable, the DR-730, rated at approximately 12,000 pages, and it snaps together with the toner cartridge as one assembly. That is why the printer has its own Drum End Soon and Replace Drum messages alongside the toner messages.
Does the HL-L2350DW print double-sided by itself?
Yes. Brother lists automatic duplex (2-sided) printing as a standard feature, so the printer flips the sheet internally with no manual reloading. If the back cover or 2-sided tray is not seated, the panel shows 2-sided Disabled until you close or reinstall it.
