The Lexmark MX810 is a mono laser printer in the MX810 series, which shares cartridges across 13 models.

The drum is a separate part on this printer. The 520Z is rated for about 100,000 pages, so it outlasts several toner cartridges and only needs replacing when the printer reports drum life, not every time you change toner.

Does the MX810 have a separate drum?

Yes. The 520Z drum unit is a separate part rated for about 100,000 pages. Replace it when the printer reports drum life, not when you change toner.

Does using a compatible cartridge void the MX810 warranty?

No. Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act a manufacturer cannot void your warranty because you used a third-party cartridge. If one of ours damages the printer, our printer damage protection covers the repair.
