The HP LaserJet 3390 All-in-One is a mono laser printer in the LaserJet 3300 series, which shares cartridges across 3 models.
It takes two black cartridges that differ only in capacity: the 49A MICR at about 2,500 pages and the 49X MICR at about 6,000. At our prices that is 2.5¢ a page against 1.1¢, so the high-yield cartridge costs less to run unless you print very little.
On this printer the drum is built into the cartridge, so there is no separate drum to buy or reset. Every new cartridge brings a fresh drum with it.

No. Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act a manufacturer cannot void your warranty because you used a third-party cartridge. If one of ours damages the printer, our printer damage protection covers the repair.
