Brother toner cartridges, compatible

Brother office lasers use a two-part system: a toner cartridge (TN) and a separate drum unit (DR). The toner is the part you replace most often. The drum is rated for several toner cycles and only needs changing when the printer reports drum life. Most Brother models take a standard and a high-yield version of the same cartridge, so the TN730 and TN760 fit the same printers and differ only in page count. Brother has said publicly that its firmware updates do not block third-party cartridges. Every cartridge below lists the printers it fits and the drum that pairs with it.
